My name is Kris(maiden name is Hinton) I grew up in Livonia, Mich and graduated from Fairlane Christian School. I moved to Louisville, KY 9 years ago. I have been married to the most awesome, godly husband and father there is for 15 years.
We have 2 kids, Josh, who is a sophomore in high school and Lauren who is in the 5th grade. Josh is a computer whiz and is currently playing Lacrosse for his high school. He has already been on 3 mission trips and has already felt the call to go into the ministry. He loves the Lord and it is incredible to see what the Lord is going to do in his life.
Lauren is a "mini-me" of her mom. Her number one thing in life is playing softball and in her spare time, she plays basketball and is involved in our elementary ministry at church.
Jim works at our church as an "events manager". We go to a very large church which we absolutely love. He leads one of the small groups in our high school ministry.
I have worked as a workers' compensation claims adjustor for almost 6 years. I love what I do and it's a great feeling to not "dread" going into work every morning. I also volunteer in our junior high ministry at church, but my number one passion is the softball program at church. We have almost 200 girls in our program. I feel that the Lord has blessed me with the talent of teaching and coaching and I want to use this talent to Glorify HIM! It is the most incredable feeling in the world to hear a player call me "Coach Kris" and then to be there for them for whatever the need is, whether it's to give them a "high five" after a loss or to stop and pray for them right there on the field. Every team that I have coached has been a blessing to me and I thank the Lord for every player that he has brought into my life!!
