My Interests

The places and smells that make you feel. Designing places that make you feel. Photographing people. Painting people. Talking to people. Playing guitar. Hot tea with honey. Iced tea with suga. Oh. And Matt.

I'd like to meet:

All the people that you've loved, they're all bound to leave some keepsakes

Music:

For being a musician,I'm not a very disriminating listener. Here's a band I know is good though: Buena Vista Social Club. My love affair with Cuba continues...

Movies:

Cinema is one of my favorite forms of art. And typically even when it ceases to be art, it is still entertaining.

Television:

I hate sex and the city and what it says about women and life in general, but I seem to watch it a whole lot. Television is just like that.

Books:

I'm a fan of the classics. I love Hemingway and Vonnegut. Recently, some rich, yet liberal business owner gave everyone in my class a copy of "Letters to a Young Poet" and said it changed his life. I'll read it after Gallapagos, which so far is no where near as good as Slaughter House Five but still really good. I'm also still trying to finish The Audacity of Hope

Heroes:

Anyone who devotes their life to helping other people.

My Blog

Nostalgia

The wind blows petals of my past onto my face. The air smells significantly different from usual, like some other time, in some other life I used to live. My heart's chrysalis frees a hundred butterfl...

Home.

Home is a crisp fall breeze, and the last of leaves that scatter about and dance in it.Home is that place where I grew up in a single day. In a black wool coat and a leopard scarf. In a pair of black ...

For there is no friend like a sister

"For there is no friend like a sister, in calm or stormy weather, to cheer one on the tedious way, to fetch one if one goes astray, to lift one if one totters down, to strengthen whilst one stands." ...
