The Dutch duo SHOCK ROYAL brings inspiring dance, filled with irresistable groovy basslines & tricky vocals. With 100% passion for music, the Shock Royal sound is created in an exciting search for new forms, new sounds, a balance in organic & electronic elements, in songs & dance-music
Ary : composes and produces the music in his own studio. He plays music since he remembers. Was a MC and played bass and in various genres of bands, always pushing it to the edge to find new sounds, new dynamics. In SHOCK ROYAL the flavour of his rhythmic, freaky style is all over. Inspired by Daft Punk, Weather Report, DÃngelo, 4 Hero etc.
Helga : the singer adds a landscape of feelings. Giving it that female dimension of love, history, science, spirituality and whatever. Being influenced by Joni Mitchell, Janet Jackson, Kate Bush, Missy Elliot etc.
Live SHOCK ROYAL definitely makes you wanna move. On stage, the unique duo, performs their tracks with live instruments, live vocals & mc, live sampling.
