About Me

Heeding the call of the pen is PINOYPOETS, a community of Filipino poets and literary enthusiasts from all over the world. Pinoypoets aims to provide a nook under the canopy of the moon and the stars and cushioned by the grasses of the earth wherein members can share their works, insights, and in the process, learn and improve their craft. The groups driving force is the collective desire to keep Filipino poetry and poets in the forefront of the creative arena, wherever we are in the world.
Pinoypoets is a budding group of young writers who share and discuss life, immerse themselves in its details, submerge in the thoughts and emotions, string letters and stitch words, and in the end convert these thoughts, feelings, ideas into creative works.
Pinoypoets is open to writers / budding writers / literary critics who like us are visited by the call of the pen in the visions of their dreams, in the tip-tap of raindrops, in the brilliance of sunshine, in the fumes inhaled along EDSA, in the blackness of their morning (or lunch or dinner) coffee writers who wish to answer this call, and let the ink of the pen kiss the pulp of the eager paper.
Post your works, dabble in the discussions, give us your share of constructive criticisms. Pinoypoets believes that sharing is enriching. Let us share works and enrich our craft.
