JAZ is an Tru OG rapper from the West Coast. From the "Hustle Hard Out The Trunk" Age...Living on the hard streets of East San Jose, he learned that only the strong survive. Music plays an important role in making survival possible for kids making growing up in the hood by providing them with a way to express themselves. JAZ began his Journey into the record industry at the young age of thirteen when he started creating strong and successful lyrics.
1989, he released his first album title SAGIN AND BLUE RAGGIN. Backed by a local label NUT HOUZE PRODUCTIONS, this was the start of JAZS career.1990, JAZ released his first E.P. independently. This E.P. entitle Coming Real backed by his own label, HU-RIDE-N-RECORDS, boomed through local radio stations and underground connections from the San Francisco Bay Area to as far as Little Rock, Arkansas.1995, JAZ produced two mayor singles MY KHAKIES and SLIDE THRU. Backed by HU-RIDE-N-RECORDS, these two singles also boomed through local radio station and underground connections.1996, JAZ wrote and produced a 12-track album self titled JAZ (HU-RIDE-N-RECORDS). This hard-hitting album blew up throughout the Bay Area. With distribution by the MUSIC PEOPLE, JAZ made his presence known in the rap industry1999, JAZ lifted himself to a new label by releasing a 24-track album entitle PSHYCOTIC MURDEROUS THOUGHTS (CITY HALL DISTRIBUTION, HU-RIDE-N-RECORDS/KEEP IT REAL RECORDS). This album, also featuring LEVITTI, COUGNUT, GUCE, SAN QUINN, LOCCED2DA BRAIN, YOUNG LIFE, IDENTICAL HUSTLAZ and many others, was one of the most exciting albums of the year.2003-2004, JAZ constructed some of his best work ever, a high-powered perfected rap style. His delivery is sharp and his words are jagged.
