I'm probably the most nostalgic person you'll ever meet. I love history, looking at old pictures, seeing ancient sites, and yes, I even like talking to the elderly. I love to travel and to take in other cultures and meet different people. I don't much care for the modern Western culture with it's emphasis on sex, drugs, and rock and roll. I guess I'm old fashioned. I have a passion for knowing truth and preserving whatever is left of purity, innocence, and beauty in this mad, mad world. If that makes me cheesy, so be it. I wouldn't want to be any other way. I also want to add, because for some reason I feel this minor detail says a lot about me, that I love rainy days, and not just because I sleep better, but because everything seems softer, cooler, and more hushed on rainy days, and I love that. Even cars sound a bit more natural as they drive through rain puddles. So often I find bright sunny days far too garish and loud, and well, uninspiring.
