Styfle represents his aggressive lyrical style, technical flow and presence on the microphone. He initially gained popularity as a Battle Emcee and earned more credibility through mixtapes, performances and collaborations. Styfle has performed at Cafe Dekcuf, Paradiso and opened for Obie Trice at Club Saints in Montreal, Canada. Styfle has also appeared on Incradouble Inc Radio and Ottawa's "The Peaceful Journey" Hip Hop Radio Show: CKCU 93.1 FM.Styfle, real name Brian Stephens, was born in Canada's west coast in B.C. in 1985 and moved to the eastern side of Canada at an early age where he observed the east & west coast side of Hip Hop. Growing up, Styfle was influenced by the Golden Era of Hip Hop and continues to be modivated through his hard work, perseverance and passion for music.Styfle brings the type of hip-hop that many people have been eagerly waiting for as he stands in the frontline of rap lyricism today. This young Hip Hop artist uses his dedication to achieve prosperity and to be recognized for his lyrical complexity. His greatest influences are Rakim, Canibus and Kool G Rap as well as many other past and present hip hop artists.Canada is not where hip hop originated from but it should not matter because when it boils down to talent any listener should be impressed by Styfle's amazing lyrical ability to rap about any topic.
