How do you write a bio for yourself,thats a hard thing to do.You dont want to sound cocky but you also dont want sound boring and lame.Lets see how i do.My name is Leo Waiau,I hail from the beautiful island of Maui were i was born and raised.Alongside with surfing and Jesus I was raised in a musical house and family.Always having musical instruments lying around definitely causes a kid to think about music.I have been in a couple bands ranging from metal to emo then to hardcore and back to emo.Through those years i have learned alot and even more about myself.I love playing in bands but in my own life I always wrote songs personally for me and a small group of people,this caused a urge to do my own thing and play quiet and meaningful music for me and my loved ones and also anyone else who needed a break of the shallow pop music world.Pulling from influences like Sam Beam,Ben Harper,Damien Rice, and Pedro The Lion resulted in this thing we call "Rocky Loves Emily".I moved to Portland,OR where the rainy gray weather gave me new inspirations and a chance to write more.I take my writing seriously and try to produce more than just songs and melodies but also questions to ask yourself about everything from love to religion to life.A simple guy trying to make something beautiful from his life and mind.please enjoy..............Leo
