After having been married for 15 years, 2006 started off with me finding myself suddenly single again. This is a strange new phase of life for me, and odds are my ramblings will reflect this from time to time. I have four children who are the center of the universe. My eldest is keeping a pretty impressive GPA in college and presented me with my first grandbaby this year! My younger three keep me pretty busy.
I live in the Cedar Park/Leander area outside of Austin and am the marketing director for a local boutique Real Estate firm. In the odd moment I find for myself I write ... a lot. I'll be sure and let you know if I ever get published. When the mind is to crowded for the thoughts to make it past my fingers and into legible form, I waste time in front of the computer goofing off with friends either playing DragonRealms online (Ahnelyne or Aspira in Prime - Andysta in Plat)or World of Warcraft (Anloria on Misha).
Occasionally I take a holiday from being an upstanding member of society to frolic about with friends in various costumes at local Ren Faires and at DragonCon in Atlanta. I have also recently begun roller skating again as part of my "reclaiming my identity" phase of divorce. I've also been known to frequent the occasional night of Karaoke at a local hangout and enjoy making a fool out of myself with some of my best friends.
All in all it makes for a life that is worth waking up for on most days.
