R- H.O.P.E:Before you think you just heard another young male rapper, think again, or just LISTEN. R- H.O.P.E fresh off his 18th birthday is young but ready. This young entrepreneur has been writing and spitting rhymes since the age of 9 and cut his first recording at the age of 11. Unlike alot of young male hip-hop artists in his class H.O.P.E is the complete package with skills in both writing, rhyming and performing. "Every rhyme that I spit is mine, every flow that I come up with is mine, nobody writes my rhymes but me", Hope admits as he prepares to explode onto the music scene. His first commercial recording has tallied in over 3000 paid digital downloads and is still growing. That song being the well received "Still Gutta" along with big sister, femcee/model "Protegee". You can hear the then 16 year old freestyle a rhyme that was recorded in just one take without a pen or pad just plain skills from the dome. The hard hitting track produced by new producer "Syience" (Ne-yo, Omarion, Amerie) is still one of the hottest tracks to come out of the Midwest and is still a heavy favorite in the clubs.2006 has brought a new element to Hope's credentials which involves hooking up with the infamous "Ball Hard Music" clique ("Chasa" from Baton Rouge, L.A. and "Mac Milla" from Seattle, WA) the three rappers are in talks to form a group, in which Hope is proud to be apart of.Although, audiences are ready for the young rapper to pursue his own solo album, not to worry in the near future their wishes will be met.R-H.O.P.E is perhaps "our hope" for the future in hip-hop where real talent meets real music. "I'm just me, I just DO ME", says Hope with confidence.I guess only time will tell what will come next for the young MC.
