BIOGRAPHY:
Cord Vorhauer was born in Germany 1979; during his youth, he spent several years in the USA and came back to Germany in the early 90s, already an addict of electronic music, such as Detroit and Chicago house. When he discovered the early european danceacts, such as Snap, Real 2 Real, Paul Van Dyk or Westbam, Cord wanted to take a view behind the music, eager to know how this exciting sound of music was produced.
He then started ..making.. music on his first Atari 520.
Simultaneous to his first steps as a music producer, he began working as a DJ ever since his first encounter with a pair of Technics MK2 turntables at a high school contest. A short period of time after he carried out his first spins at the decks, he started performing in several clubs and venues throughout the region of Hamburg/Germany
He finished his college studies and consequently decided to professionalize his abilities by registering to SAE school of audio engineering.
From his graduation in 2002, Cord has been working as an audio engineer at a professional recording studio in Hamburg, mixing and recording numerous artists and producing his first single in the trance music sector.
Although he is until present primarily known as an audio engineer and producer of various kinds of music, Cord Vorhauer is now gathering more and more respect for his own work. He focusses on writing and producing, thus creating his genuine blend of electronic dance music. Currently, he is working on his debut artist album, scheduled for release late in the year of 2009.
