Born in Minneapolis, MN, Angeli is a prolific singer and songwriter that has been taking the music industry by storm. Angeli spent her school years at the MacPhail Center for Music where she was put through an intense music and vocal training program. Growing up, those around Angeli could feel her energy and presence. She longed to be in the spotlight and there was no denying the stage was where she belonged.Angeli completed her self-titled debut album and released it to the acclaim of fans and critics alike in 2006. The album blended her rich Indian heritage with the American pop music she has grown to know and love. Together, this musical fusion combined with Angeli’s powerful vocals have brought her across the globe with performances in the US, Europe and some of India’s most popular cities with famed Indian producer, Milind Date. The single off her debut album entitled “Fantasy†garnered momentum and popularity immediately after its release. The song has been featured in the film Goodbye Baby in association with Gigantic Productions.
In 2008, Angeli released her first EP entitled “To the Top†through a global digital distribution deal with Australian based Blue Pie Productions. The EP features collaborations with the A.O.R. out of Atlanta, Rick Jones (The Almost Famous Band) out of New York City, and Emiko (of the Geministation Project). “I wanted this album to be more mature in lyrics and sexy in style…writing it was kind of my “coming of age†moment.†Angeli celebrated the release of “To The Top†with numerous radio interviews across the country as well as performances all over the East Coast and Los Angeles.
The EP "To The Top" is now available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, and the like. Currently Angeli is hard at work in the studio to record new material for her follow up EP set for release winter of 2008.
