INSANE DEVOTION was summoned in 1995 by Fernando Nahtaivel (Keyboards) with the purpose of doing a brutal black metal with lots of keyboards.
In 1998, A. Mauricio Laube (Guitar) and Moloch (Vocal) joined to INSANE DEVOTION, making the process of the compositions become more agile.
INSANE DEVOTION entered into a band cooperative in 1999 and in October of this year they invoked their first attack against the holy trinity, a split-CD with the Death Metal blood brother band SCORNER. The CD was released in the end of February of 2000, with four songs of each band and it's called "IN INFERIORIBUS TERRAE". This album obtained excellent critics from Black/Death Metal fans, zines, and other bands. It has an excellent sound and graphic quality. In April of the same year happened the release show in the Good Friday and it was called "Sexta-Feria Santa Profana".
In 2001, O. Uber (Guitar/Bass) joined to INSANE DEVOTION, helping the band on the composition of the new album.
All INSANE DEVOTION's effort can be seen on the recording process of the new album, in October of 2002. This first full-album called "SLAVES WILL SERVE" brought more powerfull, fast, brutal and complex songs ever, with influences of brutal death metal style. In February of 2003 the recording of the new album was completed and the band started to search the better way to release it. So, INSANE DEVOTION decide to restructure their website to put the entire album, including the artwork, for free download. In November of 2005 the new website was released, starting another chapter on INSANE DEVOTION's history.
