I graduated from UW last year. I got my BS in biology with a minor in comparative religion, fun fun. After graduation, I made it my life's mission to get a job in a lab in the bay area before I hit grad school. For the first 6 months that I was living in San Francisco I was distracted by the amazing people, music, food, etc. but finally got hired at Genentech, the company responsible for the birth of the biotechnology industry! It doesn't get a whole lot better than this... Eventually (hopefully in the fall of 2009) I'll start a PhD program in either immunology, infectious diseases, or biomedical sciences. I love being outside. I'm happiest when I'm backpacking, skiing, wakeboarding, swimming, or just being barefoot in the grass. My favorite hobby is eating.
