I am truly blessed to have a loving, supporting family that I am close to as well as a group of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I love to have a good time. I love music and reading. I adore my nephew, Tyler and my dogs, Potter and Chloe. All three of them are very spoiled by me. I have learned a lot about myself in the past few years, but I am still learning, trying to discover exactly who I am and who I want to be. One thing I do know for sure, "It's always better when we're together" sorry, I had to throw in a random Jack Johnson quote. He is in my top three artists now, and I must say thank you to my wonderful, beautiful, friend, Dana, for introducing me to one of my true loves. I would definitely say I am a people person, and in case you haven't guessed yet, I LOVE to talk. Thank God I didn't have a cell phone when I was in high school, my parents would definitely be in financial ruins now. I'm usually a pretty bubbly upbeat kind of girl, but watch out when I am sleepy! I am definitely NOT a morning person!

Music:

My taste in music is very eclectic and constantly changing. Some of my favorites are Sarah McLachlan, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, Damien Rice, Tristan Prettyman, Jessica Sonner, Colbie Caillat, and Corinne Bailey Rae. I love to discover new music, and am always up to go see live music. Summer is especially my favorite time of year to go to concerts and shows. So far this summer I caught Damien Rice at The Tabernacle which was amazing! Who would believe such a big, soulful voice could come out of such a small (albeit sexy) Irish man? It was also my first time at The Tabernacle, and I loved it! It's beautiful inside and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. I also saw Colbie Caillat at Eddie's Attic and The Fray at Hifi Buys Ampitheatre. I love outdoor concerts! They just seem to have a more festive atmosphere than indoor concerts. If anyone has any new artists to recommend, please message me. I am always on the lookout for new music.

I love em all, well mostly....The only kind of movies I am not into is totally stupid comedies and movies that are nothing but gratuitous violence (all though I loved the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre!). I must admit I am a sucker for sappy romantic chick flicks, but I also love to be scared, as long as I don't have to watch someone's brain being eaten. And, no matter what, PLEASE do not make me miss the previews!

Books:

Reading is my ultimate escape and relaxation technique and I will read anything when left without one of my favorites, even cereal boxes! Some books I loved were Il Postino, When Nietzche Wept, just about anything by Nicholas Sparks, the Left Behind series, and Why Girls Are Weird, My Sister's Keeper. I would reccomend Why Girls Are Weird to any girl looking to laugh. It is hilarious!
