TheNeverEndingStory is the Internet’s first interactive constantly evolving books website which uniquely allows people from all around the world to read, and ADD TO, a range of ongoing books started by famous people and authors.
The site now also allows YOU to start and manage your own stories and poems on the site, and act as the editor of your own publications!
The site is completely free and the best stories and poems created on the site will later be published in actual books.
TheNeverEndingStory features the start of several fictional stories written by famous people and authors including Dick King-Smith (writer of the book The Sheep Pig that became the film Babe), Jeremy Vine (BBC Radio 2 presenter), Limahl (former lead singer of the 80s band Kajagoogoo), Simon Woodroffe (founder of Yo! Sushi), Jill Dawson (Orange Prize nominated author), and Chaz Jankel (the genius songwriter and musician with The Blockheads).
As well as new original fictional stories, the site features a range of last lines from classic books such as Wuthering Heights, Moby Dick, Romeo and Juliet, and War of the Worlds, which site members can add to to create volume 2’s of these classics.
New and classic poems are also featured, as are original short stories. There is also the unique facility to send in the first two chapters of your original book for review by independent book groups, with the most popular having the chance of being published by TheNeverEndingStory.
A great forum where members can chat about the stories is also part of the site.
