Starting out, Cameron Rice and C.J. Allen decided to form the "Lyrical Arkiteks" in 2004. All of us grew up together in Orange County. Between us we had been rapping for 10 years. When we formed the "Lyrical Arkiteks", we agreed to make music that people could relate to. We try to speak life in our music. Currently we are in the process of completing our first album entitled "Building from Scratch". Some of our influences for making music would be Talib Qweli, KRS-One, WC, Rakim as well as Common. Our main purpose for making music is to bring back the "Realness" hip hop is lacking and to do it in a "New School" approach. The "Lyrical Arkiteks" consist of Cameron Rice (Element, M.C.), C.J. Allen (Skematik, M.C.) and Kirk Wargo (Diggs, Producer). Our main goal is to reach as many people as we can through our music and to spread our message through our lyrics!
