About Me

Online Now Icons from MySpace Editor .
The question I get asked the most is "why did you come here?" and I have to give a shrug and say i don't know, i aimed for Boston and came up short. I left SD 'just because', I needed to try something new and I think it is working out very well! I am beginning to accept that I'm a small town kind of person but I do miss the city and 'burbs a bit, I have a feeling I will try to reintroduce myself to the 'wild' sometime, but it is nice where I am and there is just something wonderful about walking around a small town and recognizing people.
Personality wise, I am pretty straight forward and a fairly predictable, problem is, no-one thinks like I do so everything I do is a surprise....I find that very amusing. I'm a bit of a goof ball and way to overanalytical, to the point that all my important personal decisions have to be made emotionally, I call it pensively impulsive. In fact if you can take a two contrary traits and merge them together, it will probably describe me very well....(I often answer yes or no to either/or questions).....good luck...
To top all this off, I'm a bike geek and can probably now

My Interests

Putting my foot in my mouth, tastes great and less filling! :P
Snowboarding, swimming*, rock-climbing*, rafting*, kayaking* and a bit of cycling.
*ok so i don't do all of these, but I want to.

I'd like to meet:

The next person I can call a friend. Famous people are over-rated, the only people who really matter are the ones who are around enough to make a difference. Friends are the ones you call just to hang out and bail out a boring Sunday. Or the ones who's responsibility it is to bum lunch at the beach. They everyday people who make the effort to care and share. They are the ones who make the saying "good-bye is the hardest thing" true. Simply put, they are the family I get to choose.
Or maybe just some old friends from back in the day.....I'll take that too.

Music:

yes please....if only my radio worked!!!!

Movies:

Mystery Men, Holy Grail, Top Gun, Space Balls, Dodge Ball, Three Musketeers
I pretty much go on entertainment value, if it is fun/funny or exciting and keeps me amused or intrigued, it is a great movie, no matter how lame the plot or acting. the main exceptions to this are Chuck Norris and Steven Sigal movies, but then again, they just suck in general.

Television:

Clayz Brocasting Station now playing: 1/2 my trip to Connecticut

Books:

I just got my first 'Bible'!!! (Machinery's Handbook)
OK, so I'm a bit of a Nerd.....Mechanics of non-metallic materials, Advanced Machine Design, Statics, Dynamics, Shakespeare, Tuesdays with MorrieAnyone have a suggestion for a good book about Airfoil design and dynamic loading of wings/planes????
