Beginning at the age of 15, the Trinidadian-born Celestine honed her natural gift for hairstyling as an assistant in a neighborhood beauty salon in New York. Upon receiving her cosmetology license, Tish at 18 years old officially began her career and quickly became the youngest in-demand hairstylist at the widely acclaimed, She Things salon owned by DJ Spindarella of Salt-N-Pepa.
