About Me

I have been everything and nothing... its time to be me
You have to truly believe in the good in people...
otherwise, what is life worth living for?
at the same time, you have to realize we are only human
and not perfect

Take 3/4 Portuguese and 1/4 Irish...a dash of easily amused... add in some common sense and a couple morals (only a couple) for good measure... blend until thick... pour over tender meat... if too queer start over.
Should taste like bread and cheese.
Couple things to know about me...
i'm between genders like i used to be between jobs
i take my education very seriously
i do have ADD and it does get me in trouble (i.e. someone says, "are you paying attention to what i'm saying?" and the answer is not really)
i have a horrible memory... really.. it's bad
i live with my mom... but it's all good
my favorite color is blue and number is 7
i have sensitive taste buds = picky eater / annoying dinner guest
i've recently been through some hard shit and i am trying to re-introduce myself to the world... slowly
if i call you my friend i mean it
i don't turn my back on people and i help those in need
i love musicals (especially singing them in the car at the top of my lungs)
sometimes.. i dance to music in front of the mirror while i get dressed to go out
boxers / boxer briefs / occasional brief
i hide all known photos of when i was in middle school
most importantly.. i really am a dork... a big one
last but not least... favorite thing of all time... to make people laugh
oh yea... and i kick ass

My Interests

people... and the consequences of their existence

legos, cars (real or with remote control), lucky charms, your mom, riding my bike, photography (when i have time & $$), technology in general (i like things that can do everything and nothing useful)

i like to take things apart and pretend i am going to put them back together
oh yes and woot even though i never buy anything

I'd like to meet:

Things I admire in a person: honesty, integrity, and compassion

I'm interested in meeting someone with a point of view... who actually has something to say. Polite conversation can sometimes be insulting... i need people in my life who understand what that means

Music:

In no particular order:
Tegan and Sara, Le Tigre, The Butchies, Indigo Girls, Tori Amos, Cat Stevens, Tracy Chapman, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Missy Elliot, Northern State, Weezer, R.E.M., Less Than Jake, Gorillaz, Bloodhound Gang, Beastie Boys, Jackson 5, The Temptations, The Four Tops, and most Motown for that matter...

Movies:

Billy Madison, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Shawshank Redemption, Fargo (rocks my world), Reservoir Dogs, Boondock Saints, Freeway (if you haven’t seen it, you should), Big (yes, the one with Tom Hanks), Schindler’s List, Do the Right Thing, Rounders, American History X, Delores Clairborne, Shaun of the Dead, Nightmare Before Christmas, D.E.B.S. (you know you love it too, i think it’s the combo of hot girls in school uniforms with guns), Lilo and Stitch (this is my happy movie), most musicals (but don't tell anyone)

Television:

I lean towards "white trash" television, such as: Cops, Rollergirls, Real World (i hate to admit it, but those people amaze me)... and other amazing reality tv shows as they come and go
My more sophisticated tastes are: CSI, Cold Case, Without a Trace, South Park, #1 Single (Lisa Loeb is adorable), Top Chef, Project Runway

Heroes:

My grandmother - life was very simple to her... family, friends, and love...

Timing...

This occurred maybe 30 minutes ago...This morning I decided to go with my mom to walk her dog.  On our walk we stopped at a local coffee shop.  We sat at a table right in front of the coffee...
