Bob Allen

I grew up in NE Ohio and have been playing drums since I was 10. I moved to the west coast in 1992 to pursue my life-long dream of playing my drums, and ended up in Tucson Arizona. In late 1992, I did some recording for my friend Greg Hamm, for the band "Shocker". Out of the experience I had met Sam of "Sam Steele and the Terminators". Over the next few years Sam and I played out at local clubs and had done some recording for what had become "Sam Steele". In 1999 we had played ARIZONA BIKE FEST in Scottsdale along side of the "Classic Rock Allstars" and also played OLD TUCSON STUDIOS. In 2003, we landed a deal with RED GALAXY RECORDS and went to LA to start recording, and the record label changed the bands name to "Steele Standing". One of our songs, "Tearing Me Down" landed on SPIKE TV's "10 Things Every Guy Should Experience" tv show. We decided to take a break and I joined the band "Dirtnap" in 2005. We Co-Headlined with "F5"(Dave Ellefson-Megadeth). We also Opened for "Scorpions", "Tesla", "Dokken" and the "Hollywood Allstars"(Vinny Appice, Carlos Cavazo, Jeff Pilson, Chas West and Krigger). I joind the wrecking crew for six months and then worked with bob russel,tommy domminick and micheal bruce of alice cooper. I am currentley independent and looking to do other projects.
