I'm a dorkus-malorkus professionally. Socially I'm more of an uber-geek. Or something like that. I recently combined two joys of my life by winning Red Sox tickets by dominating a Simpson's Trivia contest. Other places one might find me would be at the Cantab in Central Sq. on Tuesday nights listening to bluegrass, or at nerdnite (www.nerdnite.com) heckling presenters.
I'm also gaining some amount of notoriety by repeatedly and badly singing Spice Girls songs at the Pony Lounge in East Boston.
But don't think I spend all of my time going out having fun and drinking with my friends. My brother recently got me into City of Heroes, so I spend a decent amount of time doing that these days. I'm also a career hat-leaguing Ultimate disc player with BUDA ("hat-leaguer" being code for sucking at it but not caring).
I'm currently dating a fantastic woman named Anna, who is moving in Fall '05 to Madison, WI to enter a Doctoral program at U. Wisc. for Scandinavian Studies. Anna is such a wonderful woman that I'm currently researching places to live, work and play in Madison too. Therfore if you have any suggestions as to where there is good kareoke, frisbee, beer (cheap), music, jobs, and people in Madison, drop me a line.
