*What is this?
A benefit album featuring Smoking Popes, Over the Rhine, Self, Catharsis and the Humdrum, and more. The project's aim is to help East Timor as it adjusts to democratic independence--gained in a landslide vote, following 25 years of outside occupation and the loss of 250,000 lives.
All profit from the album supports Oxfam's Community Aid Abroad, which provided humanitarian aid throughout the campaign for independence and continues in the wake of recent rioting.
