Wide Eyes is a Minneapolis, MN based Hip Hop group who have been making music together for the past 6 years. Completely independent, they've been making their way into the mainstay of artists that make up the local underground music scene. "Wide Eyes flows well with a hefty dose of energy," says twincityscene.com.
The group is currently working on a follow up to their 2008 release "Situation" due out the Summer of 2009. Currently untitled, the guys have been plugging away on what they say will be "A new, improved sound and drive than what fans may be used to." Expect digital releases, music videos, and all kinds of other promotional material. There's also talk of several special shows this summer, both in the twin cities and out of town.
With the last year jam packed with action, 2009 already proves to be a promising and productive year as well. The crew consists of: Filth Phantom (MC/Producer/Engineer), Sean Anonymous (MC/Producer), DJ Name (DJ/Producer), and Dimtry Killstorm (Head Producer). The members have played numerous shows at venues from The Dinkytowner to the MN State Capitol, and have been performing actively through out the midwest for the past 5 years.
