About Me

Kristyna Baczynski is an illustrator-come-animator born and raised in a rural Pennine village. At a young age she discovered an affinity with wax crayons and colouring books, spending her formative years scrawling on walls and cutting and sticking together a company of home-made toys.
All grown up she left home in search of artistic education, a pilgrimage that landed her in the city of Leeds, where she lives on a balanced diet of jelly beans, B Movies, science fiction pulp covers and Eastern European folk art, along with Betty Boop and Ren 'n' Stimpy cartoons.
Today she spends time drawing new characters endlessly in her sketchbook and huddles over a light box in her attic bedroom producing characters, comics and cartoons.
