I am a 27 year old originally from Chicago. I moved out here 4 years ago to freelance and break into the film/television/music video end of make-up. I have done make-up for over 11 years, beginning in Chicago. I like to do all kinds of make-up. I graduated from MUD with the knowledge of not only beauty, but character and special effects.. I have been able to do some pretty cool stuff. I have worked with people such as Lance Henrickson, Gilbert Adler, JA Preston, Ryan Seacrest, Danny Elfman, etc. I have also worked with the Hallmark Channel, Telemundo, Direct TV, The American Inventor and LTN, the Local Television Network Show- Rough Cut LA. I know that Theatre is big in Chicago, however, I was pretty shy in those days. I realized that my passion for acting was still there once I moved to California. I became more confident and I still wanted to be a part of acting. I like to stay busy, as you can see, but also like to go out and have a good time. People watching is one of my favorite things to do. You really can learn a lot by just sitting and watching how people interact in the everyday world. Moving out here by myself, forced me to go out and mingle. I knew only 1 person prior to moving to Cali. Since, I have met some really awesome people. Of course there are some bad seeds, but I can pretty easily pick up on it and choose not to surround myself with those people. I am really outgoing and honest. I love trying new things and being spontaneous. I don't smoke...never have, never will. I love California for the no smoking in bars rule. I can wake up in the morning and actually enjoy the scent of my room, instead of smoke filled clothes. I don't do drugs...never have, never will, but I do socially drink.If anyone really knows me, they know that I am a caring person. I love to give rather than to receive. When it comes to decision making, I take others' feelings into consideration. I like to help others out and look for the best in everyone. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and don't mind giving someone a second chance. Before getting into the beauty industry, I was going to school for teaching Special Education. It had a special and personal meaning to me. I realized though that I did not want to work in a school. There is not much out there otherwise that deals with Special Education, so I went for my dream that I had aside from that...which was the beauty industry. However, I am always willing to do charity work if I can. Let me know if you know of anything going on. I love to help out. I love putting a smile on a person's face.As far as love goes, I tend to be very picky. I have thought of this as a good quality because then I really know what I want. I do not like wasting other people's time if it just isn't there. That does not mean that we cannot be friends though. =) It takes me awhile to trust someone and to get into a relationship. If and when I get married, I think of marriage as something very precious. It is very sacred to me and I plan on only being married once. My parents are still together and love each other dearly. I want to have that one day. I want to be able to marry my best friend. Someone that I can have awesome conversations with and be completely honest and open. Someone who I will bring the best out in them, and they will do the same with me. I want to be with someone who keeps me alive, someone creative. Someone who I can grow with and take on new adventures. My relationships are balanced as far as give and take goes. I don't like to try and change someone. Everyone is their own person and I value that. When it comes to a commitment, I will not break it. What is the point in cheating? It only causes deeper problems.I am the kind of girl that is laid back. I hate drama. If you are going to bring drama to the table, then please don't affiliate with me. Life is too short.
