I was born and raised in the Monongahela river valley in SW PA, and that probably says more about me than I'd care to have most people know anyway. My Dad is a (retired) steel worker and my mom is a social worker; both are especially good at their jobs. Although I trained as a programmer, I ended up being a server admin for web and database servers - programming for 8 hours a day every day just seemed way too painful.
