About Me

Pressing play on Khalilah's life is a journey through her deepest thoughts, inhibitions and sensibilities. "I write and speak about everything I stand for, what people think or secretly feel, yet, won't say for fear of what others might think, Im open, brutally honest and FREE! Her background and expertise in music, public relations, events, marketing and debatable dialogue are only a few attributes and creative edge that make this dynamic woman interesting and a breath of fresh air. Khalilah was born in Harlem, but moved around a lot as a child, living in New York, Pennsylvania, Oregon and New Jersey. She is a gifted writer who began scribing at the tender age of 9. An honor student throughout high school, who found herself involved in most school activities, talent shows, plays, oratory contests and organizations. However, one of her greatest accomplishments as a young woman was her participation as a spokesperson for the Stay Strong Foundation. It was her compassion for youth and humanity which lead her to be the 2000-2002 youth advocate/spokesperson for the foundation, all before the age of 19. At the age of 19 her ability for switching gears had her spending her days running the publicity office of the Terrie Williams Agency--a task well deserved. There, she took on responsibilities that most adults twice her age could not handle; yet her skills and business savvy earned her the title. She there learned the values of marketing and giving back to the community through music (behind the scenes and as an artist). Khalilah, a young professional is steadily climbing the ladder to success and making a name for herself in the entertainment and publishing industry. Persistent, fun, determined, creative, versatile--five words that best describe not only her work performance, but also her overall nature. Now as a corporate events planner for Black Enterprise Magazine, Khalilahs path to success and self discovery is journey where all roads end in triumph.Get These Tones!
