Elvis, and Geoff Kresge.
ELVIS(duh)-the sun records years, early years, mgm years, comeback years, and fat white jumpsuit years-nobody beats the KING...tiger army, nekromantix, horror pops, blazing haley, the cramps, the ramones, the vandals, the misfits, cadillac tramps, three bad jacks, hellbound hayride, big sandy and his fly right boys, me first and the gimme gimmes, social distortion, reverend horton heat, stray cats, hootie and the blowfish(yeah right!--just checking to see if you're reading this), johnny cash, merle haggard, blue grass, classic country, classic rock, and i'm a closet britney fan (it's like watching a train wreck) so don't tell anyone. when i think of he rest i'll add them in.
back to the future(all of them), jaws(all of them), halloween(all of them), elvis(all of them, especially king creole and viva las vegas), nightmare on elm street(all of them), harry potter(all of them), disney(you guessed it--alll of them, especially mary poppins, peter pan, and nightmare before christmas), the goonies, the sandlot, the original pippi longstocking(i'll buy it off you if you have it)...........i've liked pretty much every movie i've ever seen but these are some of the ones i can watch every day.oh yeah...and if you couldn't tell by my movie selection, i'm a big puss. i leave the scary ones to my husband.....................................................
if i have a weekday off it consists of waking up to magnum pi, followed by price is right, then rockford files, then a second helping of magnum, ending with days of our lives. other than that i like celebreality on vh1, six feet under, sex and the city, and dead like me, giligan's island, the munster's and welcome back kotter......
first an anecdote...when i was a kid and my room was messy my mom would ground me to my room (no tv or phone) until it was clean. i used to stay grounded for weeks because i would much rather read my books than clean my room. lately i have been grabbing all of patricia cornwell books. they have a good coroner perspective. ayn rand. tom robbins (one of my all time favorites). hunter s. thompson. anything to do with elvis. olivia coffee table books. i have some cool books with old skool crime scene pics from the forties (ask me and i'll tell you the names). of course harry potter (can't wait until july 6!). if i had to pick a book to tell you to read it would be way of the peaceful warrior. i don't know the author or even own it, but after reading it once (borrowed) years ago it changed a little piece inside of me.
