Heyyyyy, my name is Leslie. I am 30 years old born and raised here in Winston Salem NC. I am a Scorpio. I have a beautiful daughter Amiyah Lenae whom I gave birth to on March 29, 2008. She is turning the big “1” soon, already! She is a blessing from God and I am so in love with her. She is so wonderful and makes me so happy. She learns something new every single day and I just love watching her explore her world. I never knew being a mommy would be so much fun. She is spoiled rotten not only by me but by her grandparents as well. She is a handful and definitely keeps me busy. I don’t do much anymore I pretty much spend all of my spare time with her or shopping for her. I guess you can say I gave up the club/partying life to be a mommy. She is way more fun and way more important. I am single and raising her by myself to the best of my ability. Hopefully one day I will meet the man of my dreams but only God can decide if that is meant to be. I have the best parents and sister, wonderful family, awesome friends, rewarding career, and of course my beautiful blessing from God Amiyah. Some people may think my life is pretty boring but not with Amiyah she stays entertaining me everyday. I graduated Parkland High School in 1997. I graduated nursing school from Forsyth Tech as a Registered Nurse in 2005. I currently work 2 jobs. I work full time as a nurse in Brenners Childrens Hospital at Baptist Hospital. I also work as a nurse at a home health agency Bayada. I am PALS (Pediatric Advance Life Support) and CPN (Certified Pediatric Nurse) certified which I am very proud of. I work 3-4 days a week working 12 hour day shifts from 7a-7p. My mom keeps my angel for me while I work. I have a younger sister Kristy who works in Greensboro as a 4th grade school teacher. I am very close to my family and my parents to this day would still do anything in the world for me and my sister. I don’t know where I would be without them or my best friend Crystal. Crystal is my rock! We have been friends since middle school and have been best friends ever since. Nothing could separate us and I mean nothing. We have been through it all together and God made us best friends because he couldn’t handle us as sisters. She has 3 beautiful children whom I love dearly. And then there is my Kimbo lol. She is my other best friend. We have been friends since high school and I just love her and her family to death. And I can’t forget about my bestie at work Mindy. We have been best friends in and outside of Brenners for a few years now. We even experienced our pregnancies together, our baby girls are only 19 days apart. I love her to death as well.
