BAND BIO
The B.L.A.C.K Experience brings a new element to your standard hip-hop group. They consist of two MC's: Lyrix and JDC, and one Spoken Word artist: J. Crow.
We refuse to rap about the normal jewelry, money, and cars. We would rather be classified as Rip-Hop because we are raw, real, and can rip the mic, says Lyrix.
The B.E leaves you with something to think about. Their motto is conscious knowledge and their music reflects it. Their song "Chain Links" has been in rotation in parts of the U.S. and London.
The group moves their audience with strong lyrics, funky grooves, and hot tracks. They are the future of the hip-hop game; by blending real MC's with a new type of Spoken Word artist.
This California based group has mostly performed underground and has collected a large following in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. They burst onto the scene with a track titled "As Is", which was a featured song on the Steve Harvey music compilation (MCA) titled, "A Sign of Things to Come". The CD also featured artists Carl Thomas, Mary J. Blige with P. Diddy, Joe, and Fabulous, just to name few.
