I'm a Christian, what more is there to know...lol. jp. ...I'm a Sophomore at North Carolina State University...um, I'm somewhat feminist/independent....I only want a guys help if I ask for it....a DEFINITE individualist...um...i <3 having fun, seeing a movie with a friend i can't normally see is more fun to me than hanging with the normal school crowd.
I'm the lucky woman who gets to call Jacob Brintle a boyfriend. He's the most amazing guy ever: Totally in love with Christ first, then me, and that makes me love him all the more. He currently plays bass for a Christian Metal/Hardcore band called He Who Overcomes. =]
I ABSOLUTELY <3 QLC!!! It's always a part of me and if/when I feel down I always think back to the fun and spirituality @ QLC (Quaker Lake Camp) and I immediately smile. It's even the place I met Jacob! =] I plan to be on staff again this year. Other YM events i love to attend: Yearly Meeting, Ambassadors for Christ:NYC, Tremors, Leadership Retreat, etc.
Oh, I like music too. I play piano, though I don't play nearly as much as I should or would like to. I know a tiny bit of guitar. I used to play clarinet. I'd love to start learning violin and trumpet and flute, but I doubt I'll ever get the time.
I'm rather artsy and crafty. Making jewelry and doing watercolors are my current creative outlets, but I also crochet, sew a little, embroider a little, and paint.
Also, I love doing meeting(church) and Yearly Meeting work. I'm the former Presiding Clerk of Young Friends YM. I'm now part of NCSU Quakers and helped start the Bible Study there.
