Chiara signed to Warner Chappell Music when she was just 18, where she spent time in Nashville song writing. She recalls seeing snow for the first time, falling on a guitar shaped swimming pool. After graduating from University in Australia with a BA in Contemporary Music, she began a period of travel, combining song writing & performing with artists from one hemisphere to another, including Steve Clark (Died Pretty) & Boo Hewerdine (Eddie Reader). Arriving in Ireland in 1999, Chiara established her first band The Rose Ponies & became a member of The Acoustic Junction song writing collective. In 2003 & again in 2004 Chiara wrote & recorded the music for two productions with Irish theatre company About Face. In 2006 Chiara independently released her debut album ‘Night Time’ produced by Sean Devitt (Daniel Lanois/The Devlins) & working with such musicians as Bill Shanley (Mary Black/Ray Davies), Garvan Gallagher (Sonny Condell), Michelle Mason (Declan O’Rourke) & Jim O’ Neill (Today FM). 2006 continued to be a successful year for Chiara as she toured as special guest to the great Paul Brady on his Irish national tour. It also coincided with the release of the album ‘A Life Like Mine’ by Irish singer Tommy Fleming, the title track of which Chiara wrote with Pal Steelo front man, Paul McDonnell & guitarist/producer Dave Molloy. So far in 2008 Chiara has been working as musical director for the Finglas based project The Forever Young Chorus. A seniors choir performing material from Bob Dylan to Carly Simon & more. She is currently enjoying a piano residency in South & studying her classical grades with the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
