With his desire to spread good music to the world, coupled with the enthusiasm and fearlessness it takes to bring unknown talent to the masses, he is truly a force to be reckoned with!His early influences not only come from a familiarity with the creativity of artists ranging from Burning Flames, Crazy, Baron, Seventeen Plus, and Sparrow, right up to the more modern variety including Fireman Hooper, Edwin Yearwood, and Bomani, but also his own father who was a member of the band Super Sonic Brass who were prominent in Toronto from the 70s to the late 80s.He began playing Soca and Hip Hop in his more formative years, but after an extended visit to New York he became familiar with Soca music which was not being played on the Toronto scene. Upon his return, he made it his personal mission to push as much Soca music as possible to as many people as possible.Many Soca DJs fall into one of two categories on a spectrum: either playing strictly mainstream music for fear of losing their following or not catering to the audience at all. In light of this, All Is Maddness has successfully found an equilibrium that has his listeners coming back for more!<a
