About Me

About me? Who cares really? It is about the movie KARMA! A soon to be released feature length suspense film shot on location in North Eastern PA.The story follows a young preschool teacher on her birthday, which starts upbeat enough, but before she has the opportunity to return home, she is abducted by a cold calculating psychopath. As The main character "Gail" lays prey for her capture over the following weeks, the darker side of human nature is explored and our culture is feed the blood lust we desire as the tale takes us through a twisted journey of bone jarring emotions and plot lines.Karma stars: Laurence Mullaney, Kerry Rupe, Anthony Mecca, Christopher McLaughlin, Natalie Neckyfarow, Jennifer Sandella, Jessica Hoffman and Victoria Bruno.The film is written and Directed by Tom Roarty and Produced by LeeAnn Roarty. The Director of Photography is Sean Bensen whose amazing lighting abilities set the tone of the entire film! we could not have even come close to where we are from the start of this project to now with out the help of Graham Donohue who truly is our "Best Boy" and Alex Barowski, who was the "Ok boy".Also, thank you so much to: Jim, Trish and the rest of the Downey family, who let us recreate the hell that lives in my mind on their property, everyone at the Dimmick Inn and Steak House in Milford PA who allowed us to have our casting, you guys rock! Also thanks to Frank and MaryEllen Impastato for their help behind the camera and finding locations for us as well as some of the twisted ideas introduced to the film. Frank, youâ€™re a sick F**k! On that note, I would also like to thank FOX News for making every night a sleepless one and creating a fear base by which all deranged material should be spawn! Leo Casey set us up with what equipment to buy and I love it!Finally thank you to Our families who watch us spend endlessly into debt to do something we believe in and of course Kevin Smith, thatâ€™s right Silent Bob! We met briefly at comic-con in NYC after his lecture briefly when I first had this idea and with out going into details of the project I just asked how should I go about making this movie happen and his advise was "just do it" so here we are today, living the dream on Silent Bob's advice!

So far on this project I have met many incredible people who have helped us in ways they can not even imagine. All of us involved in the project are grateful for their existence. But, I think I speak for everyone when I say meeting the audiences of the finished project and thanking them for taking the time to see what we created would be something we would all truly love to be able to do!
