Glock Opera
Inspired by J.G Ballards technological nightmare series and The Social History of the Machine Gun by John A. Ellis, Glock Opera is less a concept album and more a musical atrocity exhibition exploring firearm fetish, celebrity death and pop mythology.
The album includes three previously released tracks from the Freak Plastique, Capital Heaven and Slamm/Pioneer labels. Promos of Glock Opera have been doing the rounds on the underground circuit since its completion in 2001 but now a limited quantity of this lost album are now available via mail order.

Jonathan E - a Bio in Brief
Singer, writer, guitarist and all round Renaissance man Adrian Stranik created Jonathan E, primarily with Prog-House God Magic Alec, as an aural catharsis in which he could vent an unhealthy obsession with corporate gangsterism, 70s sci-fi movies, Japanese entertainment culture and violent technology, within the parameters of a pop group.
Jonathan E made their debut live appearance in 1992 with Big Audio Dynamite at the Tik Tok in Coventry. The following year they released their lysergic hymn Lovescope, simultaneously launching the Capital Heaven record label.
Subsequent releases such as Arise, Europolis, and Departure cut a swathe through U.K and U.S clubland with their pure 4 to the floor progressive house excursions but by the late 90s Stranik's work with Environmental Science (Skint, Fused and Bruised, Ugly, Partisan) took Jonathan E into lo-fi breakbeat, pop-noir and electro-dub territories resulting in the album Glock Opera. Two recent 10th anniversary Magic Alec remixes of the first Jonathan E single Lovescope topped dance charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
Coming soon - new single Superhuman Label TBA.
Glock Opera is available via mail order.
