The Giggies began in 1996 on the East side of India-no-place, Indiana. Four guys with different musical backgrounds coming together to create "something different". Line-up changed in 2001 after hiatus of a couple of years adding Bruce Stuckey of Toxic Reasons on guitar. Thought of locally as hardcore, punk and sometimes metal, these guys are completely unpredictable on stage. From Lewie stripping down to his briefs at the Emerson, to Bruce being catapulted from the Birdy's stage by Lewie, to Scott ranting at the crowd at the Patio, there is no telling what might happen. And of course Jeff gets to puke after every show. Add alcohol and it can quite possibly get ugly. Check out the band at "www.thegiggies.com", download some MP3's(they're free), or order one of our Cd's or the "Six Pie Run" DVD. DVD includes 13 minute video w/ numerous songs and clips from a private basement party ( @35 minutes long). Lotsa fun. Just don't let the kids watch the video. It could cause permanent damage. :) Look for show announcements here, NUVO, punkrocknight.com, melodyindy.com, or our website. Just don't get too close, you might catch it........
