Soccer, of course. But I also enjoy many other sports which I believe have helped my soccer career over the years. Gymnastics made me more flexible, baseball helped strengthen my throwing arm and allowed me to practice sprinting which is very important as a goalkeeper, and hockey taught me how to recover from physical contact.
Young, enthusiastic goalkeepers ready to learn more about this amazing sport. I am not here to listen to your band or add your band to my page, so please don't ask. I am not here to date, so if that's what you're looking for, please keep looking. This profile is strictly for communications with and about the soccer community in and around Jacksonville, FL.
I created this page for parents interested in training for their young goalkeepers and for the soccer players I coach to have a way to keep in contact with me while I coach them and after they move on to bigger and better things! So, any players I've coached or am coaching, drop a line and say hi! I'd love to hear from ya!!
I pray that life brings you everything you work for and dedicate yourself to!
Keep the Lord first, acknowledge the gifts He's given you, and you'll be just fine!!
In your name we play, Lord! Amen!
Anything that gets me in the mood to play. Anything from techno for warm-ups to music with heavy beats!!!
Bend it Like Beckham, The Big Green, Remember The Titans, Miracle, The Sandlot, Bull Durham, Major League I and II, and other movies that make me wanna tear it up on the field!!!
ESPN, ESPN 2, Fox Sports World, TNN, ABC.
I love books. Favorite authors include but are not limited to Frank McCourt, Malachy McCourt, Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, Nicholas Sparks, and Nora Roberts!!
Tony Meola was my first hero. I met him when I was playing in college and it was great! Each member of my family is a hero for all the support they've given me over the years. My other heroes are the kids I coach. No matter how long I play and how many coaches I've had, the kids I coach always teach me so much; not only about soccer, but life as well! I am especially proud of my first goalkeeper that I ever worked with. I worked with Julia for close to two years and she was named to the state of Florida ODP (Olympic Developmental Program) team the summer before her family moved up north! She was one of only two players chosen from Jacksonville and I couldn't have been more proud!! Way to go Julia!
