About Me

I picked up the guitar at age sixteen. I don't know why. I didn't play very often for many years. When I did play it was rough. I screamed more than sang, I had no rythm for being half African American and music theory, "what is that?". NOT MUCH has changed, except my love for it. In a world that is constantly drowning out the purity of the true human voice, music is the last stand. It's threshold is deep and it can encompass virtually any human experience and even come close to equal that of nature. Music is something I have had much respect for, it's mysteries and passion contain something more than I could ever understand. I knew I always wanted to be part of it. Sometimes I would debue for neighbors and friends, even if they were unwilling and reluctant. Other times I fueled my courage with alcohol at bars and grabbed the microphone and sang into it. Thankfully I don't do that anymore. I am self taught and have alot to learn about music, so my road is just begining...
