About Me

Shot at 2007-08-12I'm Stephen Haramis, unfortunately I don't have any cool journalist to write a good bio, nor do I feel like speaking in 3rd person, because that makes me sound better than I am. So here's my biography:2005 - I'm in college, and I have no clue how to play piano, however I begin to mess around on the piano, I've never had any lessons, but one note at a time I developed elementary chord progressions and songs. 2006- That winter I developed the songs that would be in my first demo and then full length album Tell Me Everything...Without Words, however, the poor recording quality and the unknown status it never really went anywhere. I played my first show that June in Shamokin in PA and played 2 more that July at Tuesday Tunes Fest. Leaving back for Rochester that year I began to play cafes, churches, coffee house, restaurants, college dorms, anywhere I could, and continued to always strive to improve my musical ability. My goal was to create a new higher musical theory out of scratch. In November of that year I released a music video to a demo of the song "Some Fairytales" which would later be rereleased on the next album. The video can be found on YouTube searching for Stephen Haramis. Myself and Red Eyes For Blue Skies teamed up for a 3 day mini tour leading up to New Years called Three Cheers For New Years. 2007- That January I laid down the tracks for what was the album that would finally be sold to people "All Courage and Fear" it was recorded professionally with sound engineer Rich Wattie and released Feb. 1 2007. I got a lot of new feed back but still thought it needed improvement. June 2007 saw We Do This For the Memories Tour with Red Eyes For Blue Skies and The Where although most of the tour was a disaster in booking it was an incredible time I wouldn't trade for anything. Currently my life has taken drastic changes and I am finished with a newly written album "Write Erase" that is slated for recording in September October, and a November release at the latest.
