Automatic Noir

This Band existed from 1992 to 1999.
They celebrated a noisy but melodic way of german Industrial Sound with guitar riffs, influenced by Laibach, DAF and the Krupps.
The Band was based in a small old town called Meissen, which is actually more famous for manufactoring the Dresden china, than for smashing it. Those guys quickly became "famous" by strange appearances in local tv-shows and weird muscle-action-performances on stage. Loads of wood got crushed during the shows.
One longplayer "KAISERSCHNITT" released in 1997(Noiseworks Rec).
The Songwriter/Programmer and Singer Roger Baptist one or another might know in his recent Band called RUMMELSNUFF- joined by former Automatic Noir Bassman Toddy Scheel(which one also is on tour recently with IN EXTREMO).
Frontman Jörg Schittkowski now is busy with booking and managing the german new indie rock heroes of ZOMBIE JOE.
Guitarist Andy Német became a sculptor and painter with a studio in Dresden.
Automatic Noir Mastermind Roger Baptist now runs RUMMELSNUFF!
