I am an up-and-coming artist to be watched here in Cashville. Born and raised in Nashville, I have every intention to make a name for myself as well as the female hip-hop industry here, outside of the realm of what is expected from the southern sound. Not only am I a hip-hop artist, I am a soul artist, meaning everything that I do comes from the soul. Currently, I am pursuing collaboration efforts with fellow Nashvillian Tyree. Band Members: Vali.Jae aka Tha BuTerFlieChik and Tyree, formely members of the Nashville based, Chi-town/Cashville group known as Addictive, have linked together to form New Southern Style Hip Hop group T.V..
Influences: My influences range everywhere from Donny Hathaway to Lauryn Hill, that includes: Will Smith, Erykah Badu, TLC, Salt 'n' Pepa, Common,Marroon 5, Mos Def, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Tupac, No Doubt, Queen Latifah, M C Lyte, the list goes on.
Sounds Like: I've been told that I have a tendency to sound like a mix between M C Lyte and the late Left Eye of TLC, I don't hear either.
