About Me

Well, if you really want to know...My given name is Alice, but I prefer to be called Allie. I was born in 1968 and have lived in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York all my life. It's beautiful here.I have three older brothers, who are terrific. The older two are part of New York's Finest (NYPD)and the younger & my favorite brother of all, has down syndrome, but that doesn't seem to affect him. He is as smart as anyone & more loving than most! We call him "Our own personal Angel, sent from God".My mom passed a few years back. I miss her everyday. She was such a wonderful woman and awesome mother. I can only hoped to be half the mom she was! My dad passed away May 2008 at the age of 80. He saw a lot in his lifetime. Fought in WWII, served NYPD for well over 30 years, was with the Attny General and Special Prosecutor's Offices and then did ten years in private corporate security. The man truly had done and seen it all.I'm of Irish and Scottish descent, second generation American. I love my heritage.I have a wonderful husband. I'm always being told by my girlfriends that they wish they could clone him. LOL I'm a mother of two beautiful children. There's my daughter, who was born in January 1992 and my son, he was born at the end of July 1999. Both make me very proud to be their mom!
