Drink Ink Publishing founded in 2006 by Mr.E.
Drink Ink is an assembly of Artists who want to produce their own comics without deadlines or censorship with complete and total freedom.
The first three comics published on D.I. were:
The Paranoia Report by the Shadow People Commitee, Git by street artist Pink Skull, and the hit comic FIRED! by Mr.E.
Drink Ink main offices are currantly in the Puke City (also known as Albuquerque New Mexico.)
Drink Ink is a non-profit production. Most comics on D.I. are FREE (unless other wise noted).
We at D.I. mail out comics at the cost of whatever the shipping and handling fees are. All comics are made at the expense of the artist (for your enjoyment). D.I. comics are made purely for the pleasure of drawing and creating.
"We are not in it for money or to sell out. It's for friends and fans only!" Mr.E said in a recent interview via Denver.
"Drink Ink is a comic for the people by the crazy drunk and degenerates" and we are proud to be just that!
D.I. not only puts out comics but also has done art for bands and art gallery opening including original flyer art, t-shirt design, album design, custom paint jobs, and logo designs to name a few.
D.I. is also a sister company to Totally Illegal Recordings. A D.I.Y. record lable run by Venus DeBaser and Nancy Downs (of The Puke City), two artist here at D.I., Venus being the criminal behind the band Miss Mutilation out of Burque NM.
D.I. was created out of poverty and continues to enjoy that success, and though there have been many opinions concerning the content of these comics, the only opinion we ever cared about was the fans...especially the girl fans...and cracking a bad joke here and there...and snacks^_^...and revenge!
