My Interests

I'd like to meet:

..Siegfried Woldhek is the founder of NABUUR. He expresses his ideas in his own drawings and the organizations he helps shape as CEO. The basis for NABUUR was led during the years that Woldhek led World Wildlife Fund-Netherlands (700,000 members) and the conservation breakthroughs he masterminded there.

The Dutch Postcode Lottery is the largest charity lottery in the Netherlands. Fifty percent of its annual gross proceeds is donated to carefully selected charity organizations. NABUUR received a substantial project donation in 2004. This money is used to develop NABUUR into what it is today.

Hivos is a Dutch non-governmental organization inspired by humanist values. Together with local organizations in developing countries, Hivos seeks to contribute to a free, fair and sustainable world in which citizens - women and men - have equal access to the resources and opportunities for their development. And where they can actively and equally participate in decision-making processes that determine their lives, their society and their future.

The overall goal of Swedish development cooperation is to contribute to making it possible for poor people to improve their living conditions. By reducing injustices and poverty throughout the world, better opportunities are created for development, peace and security for all people and nations. In an increasingly developing and growing world we are all dependent on, and affected by, each other.
