MASTERING
Indie friendliest Mastering Engineer you'll ever meet. Lot's of billboard hits, a few platinum records, a 2006 latin grammy nomination and the #8 most played song on US radio for 2005 was mastered (and mixed) by yours truly. You can check out the studio and some of my credits (that desperately need to be updated) at www.turtletonestudio.com. Also check out what Mix Magazine had to say about me (complete w/lame pic!).
MIXING/ PRODUCTION
I'm a nyc mix engineer w/big reggaeton credits, but I'll mix and have mixed a very broad spectrum of genres (from Teo Macero to Fat Joe to local rock). I mix by the track at any studio you want, I have a ton of industry connections which give me great rates & have mixed some high profile projects right out of my own Brooklyn studio (1" 16 track analogue & Pro Tools w/outboard gear). I'm also a producer/ engineer for select projects, including rock & singer/ songwriter. Drop me a line if you're interested in production & I'll send you some samples of what goes on in this place.
LIVE (FOH)
I sometimes mix FOH for live shows- I'll typically only do this for friends or for bands I really like but sometimes I'm offered a gig I ought not refu$e. Some live mixing credits include Antigone Rising, Nine Days, John Zorn, SNL Band, Shootyz Groove, Bernie Worrell (P Funk) & Rita Morena while some local heros include Sex Slaves and Leftover Crack.
We are lonely so we have distractions. Here are a few of mine;
•Vox & rock guitar player for The Divide , NYC
(my sweat, my blood)
•Mastering Engineer at Turtletone Studio , NYC
(livelihood)
•Owner & Mix Engineer/ Producer, Threatened Productions
(livelihood & realizations)
