Names J-Xile, I am an up and coming hip-hop artist from Portland, OR. I have been doing this music thang for over four years, and studying every aspect of music for the last two years. I have developed a foolproof Grand Plan that is sure to propel me to the front lines of the rap game. My biggest dream is to be performing live to tens of thousands of fans chanting my name, anticipating the performance of my new single. I would consider myself a song based artist, and have devised my business model to take advantage of the digital age.
My plan is to not sell cd's or even mp3's, but to use my music as my promotion and distribute it freely to the world. I will also offer cd's or mp3's for sale to those that want to help support my career. I plan on making a living off of touring and production for other artists, as well merchandise and other business ventures. My plan is to build my home base in Portland, then spread to the rest of the North West. When I am ready for the next phase of my career I will sign with a Major label to take my music worldwide.
After I release a few platinum albums I will then go Independent once again, only much more popular with a lot more money to work with to further advance my career.
