In the Spring of 2006, after four years as Common Saints, and recently being voted "Best Live Band", by the Asheville Citizen Times, five of the six former members of Common Saints embarked on a new journey. The dynamics of this talented group changed for the better, with the addition of a multi-talented keyboardist.Along with this exciting transition, evolved a much needed name change as well. No longer members of Common Saints; A Social Function has emerged bigger and better, and ready for all your entertaining needs.A Social Function has an extensive catalog of songs ranging from the 50's and 60's to today's Top 40 Hits. This wide variety of material allows A Social Function to cater to all ages; young, old, and in between.
