Band Members:Klaude Boz has a criss-crossed lineage, with roots in a number of previous musical incarnations spanning two decades. A boy band this isn't. Klaude Böz first played with Bawbags (Guitarist "Kendo Nadgers Sake" & Drummer "Stew Pendos") in new wave "Further Thought" in the early eighties. It was the combination of "Böz & Sake", on bass and guitar respectively, that underpinned the distinctive sound of post punk pranksters "The Toys out of their Boxes" in the latter part of the eighties. During the nineties Böz took up a solo career performing live offbeat elecronica for the club scene. He appeared regularly at "Pussypower" and "Pure" amongst other events around the country. Following a long sojourn in the latter half of the nineties, Böz re-emerged in 2001 briefly as "Georgie Boy Move Over with Lady Missile" performing their "I Feel Drugs" set. In 2004 "Missile & Böz" teamed up with former Toys, "Lord Snorty" and "Max Strength" for a "Bongo Club" appearance in Edinburgh under the dubious moniker "The Magic Beans" 'nuff said. In Early 2005 "Böz & Missile" had the punters bouncing at the Cross Club in Prague when they took their act to the Czech Republic, and more recently in 2006 Boz has been gigging at Breakfest festival in Czech Republic as well as at the Cross Club in Prague and on a regular basis in Glasgow namely at The Soundhaus.
Influences: Edith & the Ladies, The Stranglers, Magazine, Nine Inch Nails, Marylin Manson.
Sounds Like: "Klaude Böz " represents the true sound of the Glasgow Underground, especially the bit between Hillhead & St Georges Cross (Outer Circle). "Klaude" presents a sound born of rock meets electronica. Parentage with more than a hint of dance beat.
