Mike Conto

Mike grew up in North Bay Ontario playing with and learning from the wealth of local talent that surrounded him. After studying Classical Guitar till he was 21, he moved to Toronto to study Jazz at Humber College of Applied Arts. Since then Mike has become a familiar player in many circles around Toronto. His love of many styles of music brings him into contact with a wide range of bands and venues. Over the past 10 years he has performed across Canada and the US. Currently he leads his own jazz ensemble and also teaches MIDI music production at www.metalworksinstitute.com. Mike released his first Jazz CD in January of 2007.
